At the age of 15, Reyn Ouwehand`s musical career started with an assignment from London: System 3 asked him to compose for their videogames on the Commodore 64 and Amiga. In 1995, at the age of 21, he started his own company Prevue Productions. He built his own studio and started working as a producer, studio musician and composer.

Nowadays Reyn is an established producer, who is working or has worked with big national and international artists like Stephan Eicher (Universal/Barclay), Benjamin Biolay (Virgin), HIM (Warner Bros), Kane (Sony/BMG, platinum album `Fearless` in 2005), Coparck (V2) and El Pino & the Volunteers (Excelsior Recordings).

Since he is a versatile multi-instrumentalist (keyboards, bass guitar, guitar, drums) and skilled arranger and programmer, artists outside of the Netherlands love to work with him as well. From ICP Studios in Brussel he works for French, Belgian and Swiss artists like Souad Massi (Universal) , Mayane Delem (EMI) and Isabelle Boulay (V2).

As a composer, Reyn loves to work on movie soundtracks. One of his biggest succeses Reyn had with the children`s book Woezel & Pip, for which he has composed and produced all songs. Reyn is appreciated for his personal style, and the warmth of the compositions and arrangements.

Since recently, you can see Reyn as a performer again. He loves to perform solo, bringing a full backline and sample gear and just jam on his own. His performances can be seen online on YouTube.

In 2009, Reyn will start with his dream studio: a beautiful church near Amsterdam, with sleeping and relaxing facilities. The studio will be built completely according to his own wishes, and will be filled with his huge collection of obscure keyboards, analogue synthesisers, vintage drumkits, guitars and toy pianos. And hopefully, a church organ...
